- Do I need to own Legend of Sword and Fairy (PAL)?
- Yes. SDLPAL needs game files from a copy you own. PlayPorted links only to the project page and never to game files.
- Is the Legend of Sword and Fairy (PAL) port finished?
- Yes, the project calls it playable. Its last update was Jun 2025, and the latest release is v3.0.2025.0616.
- Which systems does it run on?
- Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Is it an emulator?
- No. SDLPAL is a new engine that loads the original game's data, so no emulator is needed.
